Restaurant Burin was established in 1989 by the second generation of the Katunar family, whose dedication and passion for food created a dining space that has become a symbol of quality and authenticity over time.
A family tradition
Restaurant Burin is now run by the third generation of our family, and with fresh ideas, we continue the tradition while staying true to the values that have shaped us from the very beginning.
We specialize in Mediterranean and local cuisine. Our menu combines authentic flavors with a modern touch, offering fresh, seasonal dishes that satisfy even the most discerning guests. We place special emphasis on working with local family farms and fishermen, as we believe that a great meal begins with honest ingredients. Sustainability, quality, and a love for food are the foundation of everything we do.

Our menu changes four times a year, following the rhythm of nature. It features dishes inspired by the Mediterranean: daily catches of fish and shellfish, seasonal seafood starters, handmade pastas, and local specialties like Crikvenica’s rupice and brudet – each prepared with care and culinary knowledge passed down through generations.
